About the Mesas To Monuments 2026 Quilt Show

What We Do!

Sunset Slope Quilters is bringing you another Mesas to Monuments Quilt Show, May 1 and 2, 2026. More than 200 quilts of a wide variety will be on display.

In addition to all the spectacular Quilts on display, we offer an Antique Quilt Bed Turning daily on the stage in the ballroom. Our own featured artist, Sharon Braunagel, will delight you with a trunk show on the stage at 1:00 p.m.

A silent auction/buy-it-now sale comprised of new and slightly loved quilts donated by our talented members will provide an opportunity to start or add to your collection of quilts or surprise someone with the gift of a quilt.

As always, we will have 15 to 20 wonderful vendors on hand to showcase the latest trends and let you see things up close and personal. This is a non-juried show, meaning no judging by professionals. However, we do have Viewer’s Choice, and you can vote for your top three choices in 2026. There are just too many to pick only one Best of Show!

Our event makes a great family-friendly outing. Kids of ALL ages love the show! Sandwiches and salads are available for purchase through the GJ Convention Center, so plan to make a day of it!

If you have ever experienced our Barnes and Noble mini shows in the spring and fall in Grand Junction, you’ll LOVE our quilt show at the convention center in 2026. Mother’s Day will be just around the corner, making this a perfect gift shopping opportunity and outing.

Don’t miss out! We love spreading our joy!
