Taking place every other year, the Mesa Monuments Quilt Show is a visual delight of color, talent, art and talent. Nearly 200 quilts are on display every show, featuring a number of styles and form of quilting. You will see machined piecing and quilting, hand sewing, collage style, traditional and modern patterns, along with creations from all ages and cultures. We invite you to enter your quilts as a member of the guild.
Beautiful Moab, Utah beckons us in January of each year for 3 1/2 days of friendship, laughter, relationship building and plenty of quilting. Registration is held at the November SSQ meeting for this quilt retreat. Any member, in good standing, can attend with a limit of 50. Typically, no classes or vendors, just lots of time to work on your own projects. Wednesday dinner, Thursday lunch and Friday lunch are provided

What are the Holidays without Stockings. WE want to make sure no child knows. Member of our guild sew Christmas stocking for the foster children in the Mesa County DHS (Department of Human Services) programs. Kits and patterns are available by clicking below. Each year the club supplies 250 stockings for this program.
Guild members have the option to members make a courthouse steps design block which are combined to make a quilt. The quilts are given to members who have had a first diagnosis of cancer. In addition, a different design or donated quilt may be used for TLC.
